Open a Terminal and execute:

$ defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true

This will turn off writing these files to all network volumes.

Did you install Remote Server Admin Tools on Windows 7 and now unable to find the Terminal Services Manager????

Terminal Services Manager is renamed to Remote Desktop Services Manager in Windows 7.

You can find this by going to:

• All Programs
• Admin Tools
• Remote Desktop Services
• Remote Desktop Services Manager

If you are running the home versions:

• Click on Start button, and type cmd in the Start Search box.
• Right click on the cmd returned on the search results pane above, then select Run as Administrator.
• Type “net user administrator activate:yes”
• Log-off and you should see administrator as an option.

If you are running pro or better:

• Right click on Computer then click on manage.
• Find Local Users and Computers then click on users.
• Right click on Administrator then click on properties.
• Uncheck “Account is disabled”.

Windows Vista and 7 has built-in administrator account that is disabled and hidden by default. The advantage or benefit of using the administrator account to login into Windows is that the account is not subjected to UAC (User Access Control) restriction. YES……….

Samsung actually created a nice mobile Wifi Access Point application for the Galaxy S phones but T-Mobile in their infinite wisdom had it removed (to make room for highly useful tools like Avatar no doubt). Well now you can install it and create an Infrastructure Wifi Network. Again, this mod requires you to install the zip file using Clockwork Mod.

Note: If you are using a custom ROM rather than the original ROM, this may not work.

1. Download the zip file (download link)
2. Copy zip file to phone
3. Use ROM Manager to reboot into Recovery Mode
4. Install the Zip from from SD Card
5. Reboot

To use this, go to Settings –> Wireless and Network –> Mobile AP Settings

You can now setup and manage you Wifi hotspot

This mod will boost the maximum volume of your phone. It is unknown if this will cause any damage to your device to run it at full volume but it may cause hearing loss if its up next to your head. Root is not required for this.
